DAILY SWIM IN BOSPHORUS (2021)

Daily Swim in Bosphorus (2021) exercises to reconnect with water, through a daily swimming method, over a period of 4 months, and a feminist and queer gatherings at Bosphorus, Istanbul. Part of a fellowship at the Kulturakademie Tarabya, Istanbul, 2021. It was there that I started reading about historical urban swimming cultures.


People self-organise as life-guards
and build temporary stairs, so one
can walk down into the water.
